The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and more...

This is an early evening walk before dinner, and is a centuries old tradition that is still practiced in small towns and cities throughout Italy today. We have adapted this lifestyle into a tour, with a relaxing stroll through Rome's historic quarter, showing off the city's world famous fountains, quaint side streets and piazzas, away from the heavy traffic.

Experience the sights, smells, and sounds of every day life while taking in Rome's more important historic landmarks. Like a city made of rock and water, Rome is filled with famous fountains that are best experienced at night when they are illuminated and they pour their shimmering blue light into the open air piazzas. These charming cafe-lined areas are not only full of history, they are alive with conversation and cuisine, like a living museum.

Sites we'll visit on this walk:

Vittorio Emmanuelle Monument: More then just a "Wedding Cake"
Piazza Venezia: From Michaelangelo, Napoleon and Mussolini.
Trevi Fountain: See Fellini's "La Dolce Vita," before you plunge into this oasis.
Spanish Steps: and the Barca of Bernini
Pantheon: An architectural wonder of the ancient world.
Piazza Navona: Where artists and street performers converge under Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers.

And - optional - finish your tour with us at the best wine bar in the area, where we can introduce you to 2 - 3 of Italy's best wines (white in summer, red in colder months), and briefly explain how to taste wine - a quick Introduction to Wine Tasting!
